A small paradise, you won’t regret it.

Pros: Great host, wonderful dinner and breakfast. One of the best albergues I stayed at, it even had a swimming pool which was a welcome surprise after a long hot day. A small paradise.

Very homely Camino stay

Pros: The property was easy to find, it’s on the Camino path just down the road as you cross the bridge. The property is very homely and the communal dinner they serve was delicious. The beds and comfortable and with proper linen sheets- a luxury after a days walk. The bathrooms are also very clean with great temperature/pressure. There is not much more you could ask for on the Camino than what O Xistral provides, a pool to help with recovery, place that feels like a home and a delicious warm meal.

Amazing place to rest up

Pros: Amazing restored building, garden and location. Spacious airy rooms, rustic bathrooms and very quiet. Great to meet other pilgrims while sharing the evening meal

Cons: Although the quality of the food was very good, the potato omelette and salad for the main course was a little disappointing

One of the best Albergue experiences we have had on the Camino Del Norte, Well done Jaime.

Pros: The host was great, very attentive to each guest. Was perfect as we were walking the Camino Del Norte, literally on the route. Communal dinner was great way to meet fellow pilgrims. Highly recomended.
