Albergue Lecer Sobrado

Pros: Host very friendly. We were supposed to stay in the hostel but because it was predicted to be packed, we were offered an apartment for relatively little extra cost. After walking such a long distance, we were very grateful! Apartment was in a great location and in really nice condition with a lovely terrace.

Pros: Very friendly and welcoming. Great facilities - really thinks about the needs of the walkers.

Pros: I was greeted by concierge Stan who recognised my bicycle was special so immediately made arrangements for its security. This is normally attended to by Jeeves my butler but I had given him some free time in Santiago. Stan a .most delightful chap showed me where I could attend to ablutions and prepare a meal if I so desired together with other amenities. Then onto sleeping arrangements where Stan had reserved a premium bunk because of my advanced years. A most delightful stay.

Pros: Cannot rate the albergue itself, since on the day we arrived there was some issue with the water, but the owner was extremely kind and helpful and relocated us to an apartment with separate rooms. That was an extremely friendly and generous approach, much appreciated.

Pros: Albergue was clean, with heating throughout the cold night. Stan the hospitalero, allowed free use of towels, washing machine and dryer yo the peregrines as it was his first day reopening for the season. Stan himself was a very welcoming host and went out of his way to help a female peregrine on a bicycle who had spent the previous night out in the rain. He showed himself a very decent human being in accommodating her. Kudos!

Pros: Very clean and quiet place (it was the first day of the season, so it was only 4 of us pilgrims staying there). The host was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. He gave us towels and let us use the washing and drying machines for free. The showers were hot and there were even lamps on the side of the beds. Definitely would book again! Thank you for your hospitality!

Pros: Bernadette is a lovely host and the matrasses are pure heaven, you'll sleep like a baby 👶.
