Pros: This hotel is amazing. Don't be put off by the outside. As soon as we stepped through the entrance hall we knew we were going to be surprised. Very clean, very comfortable, very good breakfast and the staff were really friendly. The location was perfect, just a short walk into the town which has a beautiful cathedral. The added bonus was that we could park our car in front of the hotel door.

A lovely rest in Astorga

Pros: We had a really wonderful night at El Descanso de Wendy. We received a very kind welcome. The location was perfect for the Cathedral and Camino. The room was quiet and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good.

Pros: Fabulous breakfast including tasty omelet served by a nice lady, friendly stuff, location, early check-in, and very spacious room.

Cons: The facility seems old but well renovated. The only issue was a noise from the upstairs, especially at the use of bathroom (probably thin floor?). The decoration of the room and the entire hotel was a little inconsistent (such as floral print and gingham check, etc.) , so better taste and consistency make the property look even more attractive.
