A wonderful stay with wonderful hosts!

Pros: The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs. For the first time I was offered orange marmalade, which I love.

Cons: I was walking the Camino on a pilgrimage. The hotel was located 3.5 kilometres from the Camino route. The way to the hotel was not marked. I had to take a taxi to get there.

Pros: An absolute gem of a spot. Laura & family so welcoming & accomodation so comfortable & quaint

Cons: Slightly off our Camino route but that was the only downside. We walked too far & had to get taxi back to accommodation. But that was only a small negative. It was soooo worth it

Immensely enjoyable and unforgettable, enjoyed the surroundings and people, history, charm, coziness

Pros: Comfortable, rustic, cozy, historic, relaxing and peaceful are just a few of the descriptions of our unforgettable stay. Pepa, Laura and Javier are the perfect hosts, with a perfect level of attentiveness and attention to detail. The room cleaning and overall cleanliness were impeccable.

Cons: The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but was easy fixed using a few provided extra blankets for cushioning. Probably fine for heavier guests or for those who like firm surface.

The best Casa Rural we haves stayed in - Laura was such a kind and wonderful host.

Pros: The authenticity and rustic nature of the hotel was amazing. Laura was the most attentive and generous host. Picking us up at the end of a days Camino walking at Rabanal and dropping us back to the same spot the next day to continue our Camino.

Cons: Leaving - honestly, had we not already secured a few bookings in advance we would have stayed for a few days longer.

Pros: I stayed here, because I was unable to reserve a place to stay on at Rabanal /Foncebadon. I would highly recommend this place - during the day it is a restaurant, and the hosts prepared a lovely dinner for myself and one other pilgrim who was staying, at a very reasonable price. The rooms are in a fine, refurbished stone building, with modern bathrooms.

Cons: It's somewhat difficult to rejoin the Camino route - I took the main road, which was OK, pretty quiet at 6am, and the few cars were quite aware of the possibility of walkers - but although the road is easy to walk on, it is not intended as a footpath. I would recommend the longer cross-country path that avoids the road, if you have time (which I didn't).
