one of the greatest surprises on our long trip and a pleasant friendly site one wants to return to -
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, actually, a wide variety, all handmade by the host. the dinner offered additionally was a dream. the atmosphere was fantastic, one felt both at home and in a new space, with all privacy given if signalled for. the design of the place, with all the love for detail and 'language' was overwhelming, so was the host. the interior was done with such love for detail, and good taste, very special. all rooms have their 'distance' from the common rooms.
Cons: nothing.

Best accommodation on the Camino BY FAR!
Pros: Every single thing was perfect. Petra our host was warm and friendly and went to every effort to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable and perfect in every way. I felt like I had a little holiday on my Camino. I can’t recommend this highly enough. You definitely will be in for a treat if you stay here.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. I didn’t realise that it’s a cab ride to & from O Cebrero, but it was absolutely worth it.

Our favourite place to stay while walking the Camino Frances - do not miss this one!
Pros: Casa Albaredo is located about 8km from O Cebreiro. It’s an easy taxi ride from the town. Petra the host is an absolute gem. The hotel is a refurbished Spanish building and she has done a magnificent job creating a haven for quests within beautiful surroundings. The dinner was 10/10 as was the breakfast. We were able to wash our clothes and use the dryer. The beds were super comfortable. Possibly the best we’ve had in Spain so far. The rooms are spacious and well fitted out. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.
Cons: WiFi doesn’t reach the bedrooms but this is probably a good thing so you can disconnect from your phone/tablet etc. It works in the lounge/dining area very well.

My best Camino stay by a country mile
Pros: Really exceptional inn, with curated design in all areas in warm earth tones, a €15 taxi ride from O’Cebreiro but oh so worth it! Petra is the consummate host preparing truly interesting and yummy victuals! I WILL return!
Cons: All good

Staying at Petra’s place was
Pros: Staying at Petra’s place was such a special part of our trip. It’s truly off the beaten path, which made it feel peaceful and authentic — exactly what we needed after days on the Camino. The house was incredibly comfortable and welcoming, and we ended up loving it so much that we stayed an extra night. Petra made everything so easy for us. She cooked for us and had everything arranged so we could simply relax, unwind, and enjoy the evening without needing to go back out searching for food. After a long day of walking, that kind of care and convenience means everything. If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy stay with a wonderful host who really takes care of her guests, Petra’s place is a gem. We’re so grateful we found it. ⭐ Highly recommend.

Casa y anfritriona excelentes
