Idyllic stop along the Via de la Plata

Pros: Absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location. Our private terrace was gorgeous, as was the pool. Excellent breakfast - well worth the 8 euro extra. Patricia was a wonderful host. The Casa is no longer doing dinner, but Patricia collected and served us a fantastic meal from ‘A Cocina de Lucia’ and recommended a great restaurant a few kilometres away (and arranged the taxi to and from) for our second night. A super-relaxing stay. Wish it had been longer.

Cons: Nothing - everything was great.

Relaxing stay in a village near Santiago

Pros: Comfortable room, delicious breakfast with plentiful options, including freshly scrambled eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. Patricia also provided dinner for us which was delicious, for 11 euros each. Casa de Casal is set on a large property with beautiful gardens in a 16th century farmhouse. Highly recommended. Patricia is an exceptional host both friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros: Patricia, the hostess was wonderful. We received a message the evening before we arrived to give us a map, specific instructions, a menu to select our evening meal and a welcome to the property.

Perfect stay with gorgeous views and great sunsets. The peace and quiet is astounding!

Pros: Patricia was the perfect host. The food was excellent, my wife required a gluten free/lactose free breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Very good communication before hand as to whether we required the evening meal on arrival. Easy drive into Santiago De Compestella and the surrounding areas.

Pros: Very nice house and surroindings with friendly staff. Good location and easily found.

Cons: Sorry to hear that they will not serve dinner any more from the end of this month. Hope theyll manage to organize some form of self catering. But there are always some restaurants nearby.

A wonderful experience in a wonderful place

Pros: The location was surrounded by a beautiful garden, with lots of trees and beautiful flowers. The house is really well taken care of, it is an oasis of peace and tranquility, set in a very picturesque Spanish village. We have experienced 3 days of intense relaxation here, the atmosphere of this place is somehow taken out of a magical story. Breakfast are delicious and Patricia had gone the extra mile to accommodate all of our needs - recommendations for where to serve dinner, what nearby places we should visit and what are the main points of interests in the area. Santiago is close by and we believe this is the best place to stay for visiting this magnificent city.

Cons: Everything was to our liking. We will come back here for sure!
