Hotel A Curuxa Wellness

Pros: Perfect hotel to relax after a long ride.really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Cons: GPS drove us along the back road.country side and very steep hills. It's easy via town of Arzua.

Boutique hotel feel in a peaceful setting

Pros: The property is beautiful… a little bit out of town but we enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The owner, Aldara, was super helpful and friendly, even phoning for a reservation for dinner for us! The food was superb… fresh salad and toasties at the poolside for lunch and a delicious breakfast too. I appreciated the gluten-free options for breakfast as well as the lactose free milk option.

Cons: Nothing! Everything was well kept, beautifully presented and appreciated x

Pros: A lovely break from the heat in great, easy to control air conditioning. Great pool! Food was lovely.

Quite nice but a bit far out the town

Pros: Hotel is quote nice, unexpectedly comfortable when you come in the room. Very clean and has all you need for a short stay. The massage lady is very skilled and extremely nice, you need to bool a massage with her.

Cons: It’s a detour from the center. Although only 1.5km Outside, when you come from Camino, every lm counts. Pool is extremely small. If the night is colder, the AC doesn t work on heating mode so it can get pretty chilly.

Peaceful, relaxing stay

Pros: Beautiful peaceful location - we liked being outside of the town but pleasant 20 minute walk. Nice respite on a Camino rest day. Lovely garden to relax in. Wellness facilities very new and clean. Excellent massage! Each room has private terrace.

Cons: We didnt realise there was an additional cost to use the jacuzzi and sauna and you have to book a private session. Would be better to know before. Bedrooms are quite small. Once reception closes at 9pm (to 8am) there is nowhere to get a drink - would be nice if there was a kitchen area with a kettle or coffee machine for people to make their own tea/ coffee

Oasis op tranquility

Pros: It is a little oasis on the outskirts of Arzua (1.7km from the town). Very tranquil and efficiently run. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast were of a high quality and very tasty and enjoyable. There appear to be only 6 rooms which means it is not crowded and adds to the ambience of the overall experience. It is near the Camino del Norte.

Cons: Small issue really, lack of toiletries in the room. To save the environment dispensers are usually used in most hotels now so I put it forward as a suggestion. Otherwise all very good.

Magical and beautiful

Pros: I can truly say that this place is perfect .. the greeting , the warmth and kindness of the reception, the room , the jacuzzi and sauna , the breakfast … the location .. I had the most wonderful night here

Peaceful and comfortable place!

Pros: Peaceful and serene property with secure parking inside. It was very clean and comfortable and easy to access. The breakfast was also lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing

Pros: A luxurious small hotel, in a very quiet place! It was a treat for pilgrim travelers like us!

Great experience

Pros: Location, beautiful garden, very clean, spa facility, close to a great restaurant, great host After so many km doing Santiago trail, having spa, sauna and cold pool was great for our muscles.
