Pros: Heating in the rooms and kitchen. Comfortable bed. Fridge in kitchen. Close to Dia market.

Pros: Shared a room which I have done many times walking the Camino. Mattress was so comfy, bed was stable and didn’t creak. Proper sheets (top and bottom) and lovely pillow case AND towel. Kitchen super nice. One of the best albergues 🙂🙂 thank you x

Great character room

Pros: A lovely old building. Our room had a big enclosed balcony that overlooked the valley but it was so foggy you couldn’t see anything. Because it was Sunday everything was shut but the hotel has an attached albergue and you can use the kitchen so we could make a cup of tea and there was a small supermarket open at the service station on the way out of town and next to that was a very good pizzeria so we were able to get good. The hotel is right in the centre of town just off the Camino.

Great stay on the Camino Primitivo

Pros: Really nice room with shower room. Use of decent laundry facilities and nice kitchen and outdoor space. Highly recommend while on Camino Primitivo.

Cons: A kettle in kitchen would be good.

This place is one of the best on Camino !

Pros: Tastefully restored amazing old building. Reading lamps everything WORKS . Kitchen a real big place you can cook with coffee machine etc . Hob , pans , tea towel Windows huge table . Outside terrace to eat on .

Cons: That I only had one night !

Pros: The albergue has a modern feel, sheets and blankets were provided, as well as a decent kitchen and laundry facilities. There was space outside to relax. Check in was easy and the staff/owner was helpful and friendly. The large dorm was busy, with little personal space, but each bed space had its own locker and cubby with a light and electrical socket.

Cons: The bunk beds are rather low, this is fine for whoever is on the top bunk, but for the person on the bottom, you cannot fully sit up, even if like me you are only 5ft tall. The showers/bathroom facilities are modern, but there is no ventilation so the condensation makes the whole room wet, also the shower cubicles offer no space for your clean dry clothes or towels, so was not ideal compared to other albergues we have used.

Pros: Good value for money. Lucky it wasn't full as there are a lot of beds in the rooms.

Recommended stay at A Fonsagrada

Pros: Comfortable stay at a convenient location. It was clean and they provided us with cotton sheets (instead of a the disposable ones) and a towel as well. Check-in was efficient and the staff was courteous.
