Pros: Hotel Casa da Galbana is spotless, well managed and unbelievably helpful and pleasant staff. It is a diamond sitting in Friol so if you are walking the Camino Verte or just passing through, you will not find a better place in Friol or indeed elsewhere in northern Spain. Truely, the hotel is second to none.

Pros: This hotel is so much more than the listing suggests. I would highly recommend it! The most welcoming fabulous lady owner makes you feel right at home. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are wonderful, clean and stylish. The breakfast is delicious and typically Spanish. A must stay!

Best stay om the Camino

Pros: Our favourite accommodation on the Camino. We decided to take an unplanned rest day in Friol even before we checked in and when we asked Marta if she could accommodate us for another night she managed to make some room changes and was able to assist. Even though this was our most expensive stay it was worth it. The house is BEAUTIFUL and we loved our spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was great and when we asked Marta if we could please use her kitchen to prepare dinner she kindly said yes. We highly recommend Casa de Galbana.

Quality place to stay. Very refreshing attitude from host.

Pros: Outstanding style, the atmosphere was great. Host is a wonderful lady. Breakfast was very refreshing with lots of fresh fruit and hot coffee.
