Ideal stop for pilgrims in Ordes

Pros: Ordes was our alternative to Hospital de Bruma on the Camino Inglés. The hotel is very central, almost next to the city hall. A bakery right beside it opens at 6 a.m., perfect for an early start on the Camino. The room was spacious enough for two people, simple but bright and comfortable. The bathroom was functional and clean. For a short stay during a pilgrimage, this is an excellent and uncomplicated place with helpful and competent staff.

Cons: Nothing to complain about. All is good. Thank you!

Good value

Pros: We had a double room with a balcony, which was a good size and had a large cupboard for our luggage. It had a comfortable bed and a desk, plus outside table and chairs. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room was well cleaned daily. The Cafe on the ground floor was very good, and it's close to supermarkets.

Cons: The room is a bit tired and needs an update. The curtains are not thick enough to block afternoon sunlight, but it had good air con.

Hotel Alda Camino Inglés is a worthwhile alternative

Pros: The Hotel accommodation is very neat and clean. I had a good rest. There are many bars, restaurants and shops close by.

Cons: It is off route from the Camino and increases the distance you have to walk. You just have to be aware of the distance or you could make use if a taxi.

Pros: We used accommodation at camino ingles. enough room for one night, everything clean. Nice view.

Cons: Unfortunately, the heating did not work and also not all of the plugs worked in the room.
