Great stay for University visitors

Pros: I was visiting the University so the location was perfect. The breakfast was good and always fresh. The rooms were clean and quiet, even the rooms on the ground floor near reception were nice and quiet. The showers are fantastic.

Cons: The heating system works very well and keep the rooms warm, but a bit too hot for me.

Very nice and relaxed weekend

Pros: Room is very confortable, clean and spacious. The breakfast was nice, not with a lot of variety but enough to satisfact a portuguese.

Cons: The price is a little bit high if you add breakfast as an extra and also parking as extra

For a one night visit this was perfect for our purpose

Pros: Modern, clean and well presented hotel with secure parking. Historic centre and Roman bridge all a very doable walk away. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast. Exceptionally comfortable room and bed with good sound proofing - a peaceful nights sleep. Perfect for our purpose.

Pros: The hotel close to both the historic quarter and the main shopping precincts. Room spacious, huge bed, nice firm mattress, powerful shower and good sized desk for remote work if needed. 100% recommendable.

Pros: Comfortable, recently renovated room. Located a short walk from the old town. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Parking was very convenient.

Ideal location, comfortable and staff helpful

Pros: Perfect location and within walking distance of the centre. Fabulously spacious room and fantastic shower.Staff friendly and very helpful.

Cons: Breakfast items not generally replaced in a timely manner. When larger groups stay compared to individual guests, there is a better need to identify this with regards to breakfast timing. I was not advised there would be a large group as perhaps is the standard practice and so had some issues at breakfast.
