Hotel A Viega was excellent value for money, has a really good restaurant and bar and a lovely outdoor area.

Pros: Very comfortable hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was really good, and they even had vegan options which were fantastic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were lovely.

Lovely comfortable stay while walking the camino

Pros: Excellent hotel for Camino pilgrims, bed super comfortable, was very luxurious after many nights in Hostal dorms. My friend and I agree it was amazing value, first time to enjoy Netflix on the Camino. It’s at the end of town so just have to step out and rejoin the Camino at the door. Highly recommend. Staff very helpful especially at check in

Cons: Loved everything although for us dinner was very late, restaurant opened at 8.30. Nice food with lovely staff however.

A beautiful maintained hotel with a spectacular garden.

Pros: Although not placed in the town center, the hotel has a beautiful big restaurant overlooking the river with a dayly pilgrimage Manuel, that is very convenient after a long day's walk. Every floor has a terrace with a laundry hanging rack that is very thoughtful and convenient for those on their Camino.

Cons: We booked a twin room and received what I guess was a family room, with a double bed too small for two friends to share and a second single of a child length, I ended up sleeping in. The hotel is not new, and although well maintained, there were no hot water when we just arrived from the Camino longing for a good shower.

A picturesque place to stay in a town out off a fantasy book

Pros: The hotel is not new, but maintained beautyfully. I returned a second time in two weeks, with my husband, after first staying with my friend doing the Camino. A very beautiful hotel with an overwhelming garden, right off the Camino and straight on the river's waterfall.

Cons: Although on the Camino and very convenient when continuing on in morning, the hotel is set somewhat off the town's center, and while on the Camino, every extra step is felt...

Pros: Good clean facilities with storage for our bicycles 🚲. Only a 5-minute walk to monastery and 1000 year old cypress tree. Manager was extremely helpful and gave us information on monastery tours. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Pros: Great location on the edge of the village of Samos, quiet and beautiful in the lovely green valley, views of the river from the room. Room very comfortable, lovely bed and nice shower Delicious food in the on site restaurant too. Stayed one night, but could happily have made it a week.

This a fine stop on the Camino.

Pros: This is a fine hotel. I really appreciated the early breakfast and staff who carried my bag to my room.

Cons: Rooms are a little dated.

Pros: Great village. A good hotel experience (rare on the Camino where you usually stay in hostels). Great room. Comfortable beds. Great size. Loved the bathroom. Food in the restaurant was fantastic.

Cons: We were on the front of the building on a weekend night so the late leaving crowd and noise in the evening was a challenge.
