A very good hotel let down by their breakfast arrangements

Pros: Location was very good being next to the Camino France route. A good restaurant was attached to the hotel providing a reasonable evening meal menu.

Cons: The breakfast was a little chaotic being supplied by the attached restaurant but not exclusively for hotel guests, who only had the use of a private dining room.

Great comfortable and convenient first stay

Pros: Location is great, and the place is very cute. Perfect place to stay to start your Camino from Sarria. Downstairs they have a restaurant/bar where you can both have dinner (great value for money) and breakfast the day after from 6AM (best tostada I had so far). This made the place very very convenient.

Cons: Meal option a bit limiting and catering more to tourists. Reception manned intermittently. Not big issues though.

Excellent mid-price hotel when starting the camino

Pros: This is a good, modern hotel right beside the camino and includes a café that was hugely popular with peregrinos at breakfast time. It’s also probably the safest hotel in Spain, being directly opposite the police station! The room was generously sized, the beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. We had breakfast in the café, which was good and very reasonably priced.
