Pazo de Sedor

Very nice place indeed, but please fix the minor issues with the food.

Pros: The villa and the scenery. The dinner, except for the glutenfree bread, was tasty and served with lokal produce.

Cons: If you have gluten- or lactose intolerance, I advise you to call ahead, and make sure they can arrange some suitable options. Frozen and then heated gluten-free bread, turns into a brick in minutes, and you might brake a tooth. Lactosefree yoghurt should not be a problem either, when you can keep it in the fridge for weeks.

Simply stunning

Pros: The whole experience was absolutely exceptional - we couldn’t not have wished for a better place to stay on our pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. As soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome by Inés. She arranged everything I wanted for a birthday surprise including flowers, a massage and reservation for the restaurant at the property, and PLEASE make sure that you eat there - the food was absolutely incredible and you would make a huge mistake by not eating there. The chef is unbelievably talented and we can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Cons: We wish we could’ve stayed longer as it was that good

A very restful and relax stay at a beautiful period building.

Pros: It is an amazing old PAZO but with all the modern facilities, and also keeping the Pazo,s history in the rooms, corridors, entrance, gardens. It would be a fantastic place to host a wedding or social events. Fantastic and warm swimming pool!

Pros: great swimming pool, and excellent cuisine, with local products, and Galician recipes, with a twist. The rooms were spacious, and the beds very comfortable.

Amazing venue and lovely staff

Pros: An amazing place to stay overnight from Camino walk. And fitted in output friends at short notice . Made to feel very welcome. Ines? was very helpful and tried to sort out the slight problems we experienced

Cons: In the apartment annex, the shower was blocked and leaked all over the floor.

Superb in every way.

Pros: Just superb all round!! Such a Gorgeous estate! Grand home. Rustic charm... the Manager was very accomodating, sharing the property history, the plans for property. The food absolutely devine. Just what needed after a long days walking the Camino, the previous 4 hours in the rain! So worth the short diversion from the main Camino trail.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Only very rarely do you come across somewhere as beautiful as the Pazo de Sedor. Phillip greeted me at the door by name (we had never met before) and throughout my stay, showed a remarkable degree of professional and friendly attentiveness, going well beyond the call of duty to make my stay perfect. I thought things couldn't get better but then I tasted the exquisite food Bruno prepared. He is a master at producing the most wonderful menu, mostly from local ingredients. Do yourselves a favour and book into the Pazo de Sedor. It is exceptional. Thank you to all involved in making my stay so memorable.
