An easy ten out of ten if it was n't for the breakfast

Pros: An amazing huge room in a very historic building - presumably an old manor house. Incredibly atmospheric with a stand alone bath sited within a huge inglenook fireplace. Visually stunning. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Onsite parking. Easy two or three minute walk to great local bars and restaurants. Memorable property.

Cons: The quality of the breakfast offering nowhere matched everything else. A couple of bits of toast and jam with some tea and orange juice. No refill offers or check to see how we were. The staff did not seem that interested to be honest, which was a shame given the quality of the place. Perhaps we had a bad day.

Hotel full of traditional character with a fantastic restaurant.

Pros: Ideal location to explore the Sil Valley monasteries, vineyards and treks. Substantial gardens and easy parking. Great bar and restaurant with great staff. The included breakfast was really good and dining in the restaurant was excellent. The rooms ( only 6 or 7 ) were full of character in a stone-built rectory next to the old church in the centre of the village. Bathrooms were large.

Cons: Could have used a twin bedded room in one room for travelling as a family. The room with the hydro pool was only a bath with jets. The bathroom only had sachets for soap / shampoo.

We loved the place !

Pros: Great room, beautiful hotel and surroundings. We wanted to stay longer. Very nice restaurant right next to it.

Cons: If you are there off season don’t expect “hotel treatment” with adjusted expectations you are going to enjoy your stay.

Pros: Very kind and helpful staff who provided points of interest around the area. Great location we loved, so we asked for an extra night.

Great hotel- very good host - would definitely stay again

Pros: Great area and Jose our host was very kind and helpful in recommending routes and visits we should make. Lovely accommodation - full of character and sensitively renovated. We wished we were staying more than one night!

Beautiful hotel in a friendly village

Pros: Fabulous hotel. Clean, modern decor mixed with the old building, good location for exploring the Sil valley and very close to a couple of good bars and restaurants Jose Antonio greeted us warmly and gave us advice on where to go for food and also where to visit. The room was stunning.

Cons: The only gripe is that the internet is sketchy. Not a big problem in reality, but it’s good to know beforehand not to expect it.

Lovely little place

Pros: Customer service was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the location was very central in the village and surrounding viewpoints. Great breakfast too. Michelle who served us breakfast was lovely and also English and she gave us some recommendations for thinks to see and do in the area but as we only stayed one night this was a little late for us.

Cons: There could have been a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were travelling around Galicia and didn't have a fridge to put our supplies in. Also maybe some recommendations in English at reception on places to visit would have been good.

Pros: Nos limpiaron la habitación, nos cambiaron e hicieron la cama y nos doblaron los pijamas

Fue un plan B que salió genial.

Pros: No era para quedarnos esa noche. Pero nos fuimos encantados. El chico que nos atendió en la recepción y el desayuno, muy atento. Todo estaba limpio y con muchos lujos en detalles. Un lugar restaurado con muy buen gusto. Aún que el restaurante del reitoral estaba cerrado( suponemos que en este tiempo es temporada baja) nos recomendo la restauración que tenía por los alrededores y bien cerca, que no defraudó, gente excepcional en trato y atención.Un sitio tranquilo y precioso. Volveremos seguro.

Cons: Todo se puede mejorar, pero sin nada reseñable.

Pros: Todo genial, especial mención al cocinero Diego, increíble el menú que pone y muy simpático
