Just perfect!

Pros: We had a fantastic time here. Cosy and traditional rooms. A place with a story to tell. Wine and dinner were really good but what made our stay so special was the staff: welcoming and caring, without being intrusive. A special mention to Emilia, Miguel and Cesar who were absolutely great! Thanks

Wonderful place in the middle of nowhere

Special and unique stay with super friendly staff.

Pros: What an amazing place to stay. Super friendly staff who gave us great recommendations for hiking in the Ribeira Sacra. The house itself is almost a museum and has its own winefield. Also the dinner was very nice with local products and wine from the own grapes.

Cons: The breakfast was very basic. We, 2 tall Dutch guys prefer a heavy breakfast with oatmeals, yoghurt and muesli, fresh baked bread and good coffee. Now the breakfast consists mostly out of sweets and cakes. An other point is that we booked a room 2 separate beds. This didn't seem possible, maybe good to also not offer this option if it is not available anymore.

A good option in the countryside but some easy improvements could make it much better

Pros: The staff were very helpful looking after us, explaining the food and gave us great local advice. The house is interesting like staying in a museum. We loved the grounds especially the frog pond. Location is amazing, such a beautiful part of the country and so many wineries to visit. Dinners were very good quality and good value for money. The view from the bedroom window as you open the windows in the morning was very special.

Cons: The shower was very dated with yellow and black stains, didn't look fresh at all. We had to have the aircon on at night as it was hot without it, and it had bright blue light as it was displaying the temperature, it was difficult to sleep because of this light.

Travel in time

Pros: The building is stunning and full of history. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast! Perfect place if you want to be surrounded by nature

Lovely experience

Pros: The beautiful building, the garden, the staff and location. It’s just amazing!

Cons: The dinner could have been a big sturdier, a bit more food.

Pros: La atención del propietario y el.personal magnificas. La casa es preciosa, nos encantó el patio central. Se nota que todo está cuidado con cariño y respeto. Una opción magnífica para cualquier época del año.

Pros: El trato tan familiar que te hace sentir tan a gusto!! Las instalaciones son espectaculares. La cena fue una auténtica maravilla. La cata de licores caseros al lado de la chimenea una gozada. Te dan un tour según entras explicándote cada rincón y dándote muchísima información interesante. Fue un gran descubrimiento al que volveremos seguro!!

Pazo precioso y servicio muy amable. Limpieza mejorable

Pros: La casa es preciosa y está en un lugar muy bonito. Es un pazo precioso. La Ribeira Sacra es preciosa. El desayuno tenía muchos bizcochos y pastitas de mantequilla caseros muy ricos, quizá falte algo más de opciones saladas de calidad.

Cons: No me gustó la escasa limpieza, creo que hay que intentar reforzar esa parte. La casa es un pazo antiguo de campo pero no deja de ser un hotel. Había mucho polvo en general por todas partes pero también en la habitación, muchas moscas en la ventana. Pedimos un insecticida que nos echaron y nos dejaron en la habitación muy amables pero dejaron las moscas muertas tal cual ahí. Es la única pega que pongo por lo demás estuvimos dejaron 10.

Pros: El lugar es espectacular, es un pazo impresionante, a las salas comunes no les faltaba un detalle y el personal hace una ruta explicativa del lugar muy detallada. Me arrepiento de no haber cenado ni desayunado allí, ya que el sitio es precioso y merece la pena
