Clean and comfortable in an amazing location

Pros: Amazing spot. We had a light airy room with a traditional Spanish enclosed balcony and we could see the Cathedral. The accomodation was basic and had a 'down to earth' feel but it definitely hit the spot being clean and comfortable.

Cons: The lobby was a bit a bit small. It looked like it was being refurbished so I guess that will change?

Pros: Charming old building in the heart of Santiago de Compostela. Room had balcony opening on to the street.

Cons: A common area for guests to socialize was lacking. But maybe it would not be possible due to the building's layout. Finding the address was a bit difficult because the entrance is not well-lit. But overall, for the price, charming building and great location in the heart of the old city, I highly recommend this hostel.

It was ok for 1 night

Pros: Lovely location,clean and tidy,we travelled as pilgrims for 1 night stay

Cons: No kitchen or a lounge,where you can meet and chat with people,the heating turned on quite late,it was raining all day long,the shower room was very humid after taking a shower

Pros: very clean, great location, the lady runs the place is So nice! she did aNything she could to help me when I arrived early, gave me a key in advance, texted me when my room was ready, even turned on the heat in the room upon my arrival because it was a rainy cold day. the private balcony in the room is just awesome! the kitchen is fully equipped. I had the very best night sleep in all my camino!

Cons: a little bit old building, there arent any sitting shared areas, its ok for a short stay.

Excellent customer service

Pros: I stayed for only half a day as I needed a place to rest before my late flight. Even though I didn't meet the receptionist as we missed each other she promptly helped us over the phone getting inside and booked us a taxi to the airport when we were lost on how to do it. It was great service and the accommodations were clean, the shower was great, they had towels and amenities which were great for peregrinos on their last day.

Cons: Nothing really. The location is perfect right next to the Cathedral.

Would stay here again!

Pros: Perfect location, authentic building, clean and well maintained. Really helpful staff too. I am very glad I chose this hotel/hostel and that they had room to accommodate us.

Cons: Slightly noisy but we were warned about this and were very aware that this would be the case. It didn't hinder us from enjoying out stay there.

I would definitely book again. Bring earplugs if you’re very sensitive to noise.

Pros: Great location. My room on the third floor was great. Very friendly staff as well.

Old building, close to the cathedral

Pros: It is really close to the cathedral and we can have access to everything.

Cons: It is an old building and the windows were not closing properly So, when there are party outside, it is hard to sleep.
