Clean, comfortable accommodation in the heart of Santiago

Pros: The age, the history, the building, the proximity to the cathedral and everything else one could need in Santiago

Cons: Nothing! Loved it all

Well located, authentic, and good value

Pros: Authentic rooms to reflect the fact this was once an ancient monastery. Shower and toilet were modern and perfectly acceptable. Located a two minute walk from the main cathedral square, and also to the main tourist areas of Santiago

Cons: I have been here before - so it provided us with everything that we needed.

A short, but pleasant stay

Pros: We only stayed for 1 night, but we found it to be comfortable and a great location. The building is directly across from the exit to the Cathedral. There are many walkable options for food and drinks. We arrived by car and there is an underground parking lot very close to the back entrance. You have to ring a bell to be let in to the back entrance. There are some steep stone stairs to navigate if entering from the back, but we found these to be okay for carrying up backpacks and suitcases (couple in our mid-30s). The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for extra pillows for the bed and these were sent up to our room while we were out for dinner. Overall, very pleasant.
