Pros: the room was clean, the hotel looks new/well maintained.

Cons: Had to pay extra to use the spa facilities (it is a room with jacuzzy, sauna, cold shower and 2 sun beds) ...had it for myself for 1 hour.

A hotel to remember

Pros: A wonderful hotel with friendly staff, beautiful, decorated bedroom and excellent amenities. We took full advantage of the spa facility. Portomarin was a lovely surprise along the Camino, with plenty of choice bars and restaurants. If starting the Camino from Sarria, we would suggest staying in Portomarin and then getting the bus to Sarria to take advantage of two nights in this hotel and enjoying the town twice.

Pros: Loved the cleanliness & the room. Bath amenities (shower liquid soap, shampoo & conditioner) & clean towels. Upon check in, Sylvia was very pleasant & welcoming. She was also helpful with nearby dining recommendations. Hubby & I felt like having a coffee & she was so sweet in accommodating us when she has just cleaned the coffee machine for the day.

Pros: The property is very modern. It is well-run and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great night’s sleep. The breakfast offering was plentiful with lots of choices, including cereals, which has been lacking at other, higher star-rated hotels. The location is perfect for the weary traveller. I was given a very warm welcome, which always goes a long way after a hard day’s walking. The staff were very efficient and very patient.

Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel. I would not hesitate to highly recommend it. The hotel is listed as a two star hotel, but it is much, much better than some of the four star hotels I have stayed at recently. This hotel is certainly punching above its weight.

Luxury Along the Camino

Pros: Wonderful place to stay when you need a little privacy & pampering along the Camino. The staff members were so warm & welcoming. The spa was nice. And the beds & breakfast were above average.

Cons: Hot tub & sauna were lovely but temperatures could be higher.
