Pros: Lovely hotel on the edge of the old town- away from the crowds and close to some lovely local restaurants and bars but only a few minutes walk to the cathedral. Rooms very comfortable. Great value. Fantastic reception staff- very friendly and knowledgeable

My stay at Hotel Fonte de San Roque

Pros: I was walk Comino de Santiago and had with ankle so desided to train Santiago which arrived 11pm. I told I could booking after 11pm sent code for gain entry to hotel and my room 10 minutes from centre nice very friendly and helpful

Cons: The squair seem a place poepIe party into the early hours a bit nosy just had close the window. So a bit stuff.

Excellent, very clean and great staff.

Pros: Great staff very helpful, follow up was excellent.

Cons: Breakfast was good but late start means I was unable to go due to clash with tour time. Should be able to start earlier, to avoid the issue.

I can feel it ‘mi casa’.

Pros: It was near to the center of the city so I could walk there. Also, it was not too near so it was quiet and comfortable. The clerks were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The room was a little bit small but reasonable for the price.

Good quality for its money, close to the Cathedral

Pros: Good silent place a bit away from the touristic center. Cozy room with a Galician balcony. A bit old but not shabby, rather atmospheric. The receptionist is super comforting and attentive. He explained everything from nearby non-expensive restaurants to taxis, etc. You may leave the luggage until 16.00 and then in the hotel 7min away in their partner hotel (which may be an issue for a super heavy suitcase).

Cons: No proper public transport connection: only one bus running once an hour from the railway/bus station, while none of 3 servicemen could explain me where the bus stops were. No taxis to easily call - they must be booked 2 and more hours in advance. If you choose to walk be ready to have your little 40min “camino” - brick road, up and down the hills, sun or rain or wind😅 But the hotel is very nice - compared to crazy prices in the city, it’s a treasure.

A definite recommendation

Pros: This was my final stay along the Camino and the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. It is in a fantastic location close to the Cathedral etc. The room was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable. Plenty of hot water. An added bonus was the hotel is located just a short walk from the 6A bus stop to get to the airport. The receptionist was extremely helpful too
