Wonderful stay in Santiago!
Pros: Fantastic location right next to the Santiago Cathedral. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and decently sized. We had a wonderful stay.
Cons: Nothing, all great.

Absolutely gorgeous location for pilgrims
Pros: Good location- just a couple of steps away from the Pilgrims office. The staff is nice and helpful.
Cons: No hairdyer in the room, although u can ask for it at the reception. For those with heavy backpacks- the stairs are quite steep.

Pros: The location was amazing just around the corner from the Cathedral Square and a very quaint laundry Hortas 10, and just 50m from the Pilgrim's Office. (Photos show the view from our room window down to the Office and the other from the hotel front door to the lane leading up to the Praza Obradoiro on the left and the laundry to the right) It is on top of a bar selling good good and drink which doesn't look much from the outside but has a lovely garden terrace behind - reception is at the bar - the staff are very nice and helpful, booking us a taxi etc to the train station. We booked a triple room (the only room left) so we had plenty of space for the 2 of us. It had windows overlooking the street, which meant it could be a bit noisy at night, but with ear plugs, we still had a good sleep. It had a heater too. Really a fantastic place to rest after the Camino!
Cons: Nothing! Bathrooms were a bit small, just like the others on the Camino, but no problem for little Asian women like us

Great value for money if you want to stay close to the Cathedral area. Not modern, but definitely clean and tidy.
Pros: The location is excellent, in the Old Town and very close to the Cathedral and Pilgrims Office. The host let us leave our packs while we went to Mass, and did everything to allow us to check in early.
Cons: You can hear some noise from outside the rooms in the hallway, but it was not enough to disturb us.

No better place to end the Camino
Pros: Perfect position a few metres away from the pilgrims’ welcome centre and very close to the cathedral square. Very clean, quiet at night, great shower, everything wonderful

If I wrote a novel about my stay I might start with the lovely and peaceful view from my room.
Pros: The view from my room was relaxing and inspiring. Although the city was busy the noises did not reach into the hotel room. The room was clean at all times, the bed was comfortable. The overall atmosphere was extraordinary for a stay for more than one week with busy days. Right across the street there is a small restaurant where you can get a small breakfast in the early morning hours and the hostel itself provides decent food at the restaurant for a fair price for later in the day.
Cons: The doors could use a little noise buffer for people arriving later at night. Maybe a sign to be more quiet after 10 p.m. might make people more concious.
