Wonderful short break in Santiago de Compostela

Pros: Very clean. Beds comfortable. Good bathroom and shower. Excellent communication. Character of the building. Very close to main centre (just across the road)

Lovely comfortable stay, excellent value for money

Pros: To be honest we didn't used the facilities of the hotel, but our room was super comfy, bed was lovely and big, and the shower was lovely

Cons: The windows were impossible to open. The wooden slats kept hitting the inside glass window so we couldn't have natural light which would have been nice. Not a deal breaker for the purpose of our stay.

Pros: The authenticity of the building sympathically updated. The staff were very helpful. It was great they had gluten free bread for breakfast.

Cons: It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities.

Central, comfortable stay.

Pros: Only a few minutes walk from the cathedral, and easy to walk to the train/bus station. We like to stay here when in the city to finish or start a Camino.

Cons: This time we were on the 2nd floor at the front of the building, and it was quite noisy. We had earplugs though so still got a great sleep.

Pros: Friendly welcome and very close to the centre. The room was huge and comfortable and breakfast great. We’ve stayed before and will definitely stay again.

Hotel A Tafona

Pros: A very nice stone building which gives atmosphere to this hotel. Good reception staff, a cafe/breakfast area and a lower restaurant. The twin room was spacious with air conditioning. All good value for money and a good location to walk into the old town centre. Bus route 6a to/from Airport is outside the door. €1pp single journey.

Cons: Very little to dislike.

Pros: Location , characterful and nice helpful staff. Located perfectly for catching a bus to airport at only 1 euro. Great as last hotel on Camiño.

Pros: Very accomadating when i booked the wrong day but where still able to make space for me on the roght day! Amazing staff and nice breakfast and the area was nice and quiet during the night
