Beautiful location next to the old city

Pros: Everything, wonderful location, brilliant staff, the convenient parking, the room. Very clean. Loved the veranda

Cons: The view. Shame about overlooking a footbal pitch with lots of scattered mats. Not the hotel’s fault though

Good stay and good value

Pros: Hotel was close to the major attractions in the city AND there was a proper parking lot just outside the front door. Ideal for us ad we wanted to be able to keep an eye on our van.

Pros: The location was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. It was central and really quiet, perfect for us. BUT . On the night we arrived and the subsequent 2 nights, there was an outdoor rock concert at the nearby secondary school, which blasted us out of it and kept us awake until 1.30 the first 2 nights and luckily stopped at 10.30 on the Sunday. It would seem the hotel had not been informed of this and they contacted the police but nothing could be done.

Cons: The noise was our only complaint and was outside the control of the hotel. Whereas I'll definitely stay there again, I would need a cast iron guarantee that there would not be a repetition of the rock concert scenario.
