Hotel Virxe da Cerca by Pousadas de Compostela

Pros: Couldn't have been happier with our stay here. The room with big, thick stone walls was very warm and cosy and the bed, so comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was varied and available until 11am, just in case you want to enjoy the bed a bit . Location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk and your in front of the cathedral.

Great location hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff

Pros: Fantastic location just 10 mins walk to the cathedral and 5 to the mercado de abastos. 6A bus from the airport drops you outside the hotel for €1 Great buffet breakfast with full range of hot and cold food.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of Santiago

Pros: Excellent little hotel , right beside the market and a very short walk to the old town of Santiago de Compostela. Hotel is full of character, has a lovely garden and the rooms are very comfortable.

Cons: I couldnt get the wifi to work

Convenient accommodation option close to old town.

Pros: Attractive period hotel in very convenient location for town centre.

Cons: Offsite car parking somewhat expensive.

Pros: Beautiful, characterful, comfortable room with quality bed linen and furnishings for a luxurious rest after 5 weeks on the Camino Frances. The staff were superb, caring, courteous and professional. They looked after us in the true, old fashioned sense of hospitality and we were really treated as guests. It was hospitality at its best and we truly appreciated it. We would like to thank everyone there for their care and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

A lovely hotel and would certainly stay again

Pros: The property was a beautiful property about ten minutes walk away from the Cathedral, the rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was nice

Pros: The location. Very central and everything within walking distance. Very clean and comfortable and the staff are excellent. Very good buffet breakfast and cafeteria.

Cons: The WIFI connection is very poor and the parking is very close but difficult access with suitcases.

Superb hotel, beautiful and with great history - what a treat!!!

Pros: hotel is superb, really comfortable and in a great spot for post Camino. it has a lovely garden, noce comfotbale areas to real and enjoy some down time post the Camino. Noce an central so everytign is a short walk away.

A beautiful place to stay enjoy Santiago de Compostela but in hotel relax and feel so spoiled by all the staff
