Hotel O Desvio

Friendly and good place for short stopover

Pros: Simple accommodation ,no frills but very good environment and great restaurant just across the street

Cons: Breakfast was adequate but no more Fruit available had been on display a long time ! Very good coffee though Our rooms were tired and areas that had not been cleaned properly ( eg my waste basket still full ) In contrast completely renovated bathroom!

An enjoyable stay we will hope to repeat in the future.

Pros: Well located for both Santiago and exploring Galicia in general. Pleasant and very helpful staff particularly the receptionist made us feel very welcome.

Cons: Nothing significant.

Pros: For us, it's a good location a bit away from the crowded and noisiness of Santiago de Compostela. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Comfortable room. O Desvio restaurant is just steps from the hotel. The service and dish are very good. Highly recommended.

Pros: Staff were exceptional. Girl on front desk was very helpful, friendly and really made our stay so much better with great advice.

Cons: It's a little bit out of Santiago so requires buses to get in and out. Buses run quite regularly but Sundays the buses are sporadic so makes getting to city a little more difficult. The friendly person on front desk arranged a taxi for us very quickly which helped a lot.

This is a family run hotel and the staff were amazingly helpful and were English speaking.

Pros: Excellent value with free secure parking for our motorcycles.

Cons: The food was superb but a bit expensive other than that nothing negative to say.

Pros: Good location, reasonable price for Santiago Time to center is 12-15 min. Good choice if you travel by car
