Short but comfortable stay I recommend it after a Camino.

Pros: Nice room, cozy kitchen and living room area, washing facilities are very good and needed after the Camino, bathroom is very nice and spacious.The room was nice and beds are comfortable.

Cons: We with some camino friends got a message the day when we arrivied that we can just checking until 6pm, which made our last hours of Camino a bit strange as we did not want to rush to the hostel right away when we arrived in Santiago, luckily we had someone Spanish who could call and arrange the checkin online, but this was not nice that we were not informed before booking about this. The bathroom and toilets are underground so you need to go down each time.

Pros: Great facilities, very nice vibe. Best way to end the camino.

Cons: Quite far from everything

Pros: The hostel is well equipped, there is a communal area, the bathroom is a good size and clean, the rooms are clean, with a lockable cupboard. Kitchen new with many different appliances.It was a good feeling to stay here.

Cons: A the digital lock in the the door of room is noisy when someone open it, it may disturb some who is in the room. Y S

Clean alburgue away from the city centre

Pros: The bed placement was satisfactory. There was ample free space in the room and they had privacy curtains. The kitchen and dining area was huge and there was a supermarket right next door.

Cons: It's quite a distance away from the city centre and a little too expensive for a hostel.

Pros: Great facilities. The reception staff were so helpful and even went the extra mile to make sure I made my train on time! I’m very grateful 🫶

Lovely modern hostel 20 min walk from Cathedral.

Pros: Modern and cool layout close to a super market. Hosts helped with everything at check in including local bus schedules.

Cons: My bed was on other side of hostel from kitchen and bathroom areas which included a lot of stairs. Just something to consider when booking. Reception only manned limited hours so tricky for help.

Pros: Well designed facility. For the number of guests the facility was extremely quiet

Cons: My hiking poles were unfortunately taken in error by another traveler

Pros: Really nice and modern. Clean rooms. Shelves on the bed and huge lockers.

Cons: Check in by 6pm was slightly inconvenient, would be good to have later but the staff were really helpful. Location is a 20 min walk from Santiago but it’s ok

Superb for Pilgrims/backpackers. No faults.

Pros: Ive stayed here after both my caminos ('22 and '25). And Ill be back in 2027. The chap on reception remembered me which is extraordinary considering the numbers who come through. Wonderful place. Quirky. Large communal areas. Clean and spacious bathrooms/showers. Helpful staff. Day Lockers to leave your stuff if you have a late flight/bus. Indoor bike rack. Well stocked vending machines. Honestly as a Camino pilgrim I cant fault it, other than I wish it was 5 mins closer to town. (As a fast walker its a 12 min walk to the cathedral for me, googlemaps says 20). Well located otherwise on a quiet street just off the main hill out of town. Looking forward to my next stop here.

Pros: The hostel owners have put in a lot of effort to provide backpackers with everything they need for a comfortable stay after completing the Camino de Santiago. The rooms are secure and have good lockers, sockets and lights in the sleeping pods. The shower rooms were spacious and had a changing area. The dining and kitchen area was excellent.

Cons: The location was a little far outside the centre, however there is a bus stop not far from the hostel which takes you to the centre of the city not problem. The hostel doesn't have a curfew time, so you may be sharing a dorm room with people coming and going through the night.
